Calendar of Events
March - 12 Monthly Membership Meeting – 6:30 pm. Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, Warren Building, 818 Dunwoody Blvd. Once again our good friend and Chrysler Technical Advisor, Al McAvoy, will be updating us on what is new, old, coming or going with Chrysler (Fiat?). After his presentation members will be able to tour the auto mechanics area of the Institute. This should be a great evening, as anyone who has been to the old Chrysler Tech Center knows the wealth of knowledge Mr. McAvoy has for what’s happening with Mopars. The club will again provide refreshments. Hope to see everyone there.
March - 27-28 GSTA - Minnesota State Fairgrounds Colliseum - St. Paul, MN. This show will be an important part of our marketing efforts for our Midwest Mopars in the Park Show. We will have two club cars in our display. If you would like to help work the display, please contact Glenn at 952-447-4702.
April - 10 Monthly Membership Meeting - Noon. Ellingson’s Car Museum in Rogers, MN. Ellingson’s always has a great display of all types of vehicles, and you can get all of the most current updates on the upcoming Mopars in the Park. Hopefully it will be a bright sunny day, and a few of our collector cars can get out for a nice ride.
May - 7 Monthly Membership Meeting – 6:30 pm. Fury Motors, South Saint Paul. If the weather cooperates, it should make for a great little car show. This is the last monthly meeting before Mopars in the Park, and it is always well attended. The club will be providing soft drinks, so stop on out to see the new Mopars on display.
May - 22 Open House - Muscle Car Restoration, Chippewa Falls, WI. The club will meet at the McDonald’s in Hudson before making our way to Chippewa Falls. If you have never been there, it is worth the trip to see this facility. Muscle Car Restoration will provide the food and soft drinks. We hope to see you there.
June - 5 - 6 - Mopars in the Park - National Car Show And Swap Meet - 26th Annual Mopars in the park held at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmington, MN
June - 5 - 6 - WWNBOA spring meet Farmington MN - The meet will be held in conjunction with our Midwest Mopars in the Park National Car Show. This is our 26th annual show for our Mopars in the Park and the third year in Farmington. We will be at the fairgrounds have nice grassy areas to park as well as asphalt roads throughout the fairgrounds. Also on Friday June 4th - will be our 7th annual Moparty starting around 4:00 and we are expecting about 100 people, lots of food will be served as well as a raffle. June - 7 - 12 - Winged Warriors/NBOA and DSAC National Meet - Branson, MO. Our headquarters hotel will be the Ramada Inn Area 57. Our special room rate is $54.95 per night; phone (417) 334-1000 and tell them you want in the Winged Warriors block of rooms. The Ramada rooms surround their own large parking lot where our cars will be on display
